The most precocious and dramatic title I have ever given to a picture.There're so many things wrong in this picture I really don't care anymore. To date it's my only near-decent fanart on Monster (which would deserve so much more) and thus has to be submitted even though I shame and despair. Still, I feel more relaxed with it than I might because hey, traditional ink-squabbling has never been my strong point and this, well, it looks like something, at least.

It's pretty subjective, isn't it? I didn't give it much thought when drawing this, the boy just was there, but I'd say there are implications both ways. Thank you for the fave, btw!

Probably one of the best traditionally-done monochrome fanart of "Johan" I have seen.
I particularly like the strokes at the left side, as well as the subtly progressive shading you used for this.
You have captured Johan quite accurately not only in detail (and look), but also with his enigmatic expression.

it's been a while since I drew this... but I guess it's still an okay picture. I like the idea, ideas are always good, it's the execution that usually fails. Anyway, thank you, I'm really glad you liked it (even though I say these things).

That looks awesome. I don't know why you think it doesn't! I love the body language of younger!Johan, the way his feet turn inwards, and older!Johan is just perfect, cool and impassive. Really cool-looking.
