Oh, but you won't stop with your lovely photos, right? I always enjoy seeing them. Yes, being a shutterbug can get increasingly addictive. I will have to find a balance, myself. Right now, where I go (which isn't many places at the moment), there goes my camera.

im not sure yet but yes i take my camera everywhere.........i bought a bigger purse so wouldnt have to carry my camera bag with extra pockets for my battery and a extra media card. I was just reading an article about HDR which ill never get into but the person mentioned that the difference between a professional and a armature is by how many prints he keeps..........thats what i have been doing this morning is parting with my many prints but they are like babies and i love all babies i meet

Hmm...a little perplexed. Does the person mean, keep in hard copy? The difference between a pro and an amateur is the fact that one gets paid for his photos while the other doesn't. I've met pros of all ilks, and a generalization such as what you mentioned has not been possible to apply. Of course our photos are our babies, so if you don't want to part with them, why should you? I never print my stuff out anymore, because my oldest daughter is a flourishing artist and all of our wall space and storage space is taken up with her paintings and drawings. However, keeping a hard copy of each print in a filing system makes lots of sense.

Well, I think so. She's a bit constrained by her art program at UT/Knoxville, so many of the things are for class projects. She has received rave reviews from her painting teachers.

Dagan has always had a different view of life. She's a drawing major, perhaps you knew. Well, we'll see how it goes for her! She has about 9 huge paintings of which she needs to take pictures so that she can upload them into her gallery. I love the latest ones and am trying to figure out how I can make space.

Yes, definitely change pictures. The challenge has become how to store the ones not hanging. We'll figure something out, I expect!

Yes, but I'm not sure we can swing that. We may have to do horizontal racks up near some ceiling areas, instead. If not, I might have to rent a small climate-controlled unit.
