Vinyl Scratch has been released as a real pony, sure, but when I saw her in person I was a little disappointed in the quality. I don't mind giving Hasbro my money but I don't like to buy a whole set of ponies just for one that I'm not really happy with!

So, custom time! Vinyl Scratch was made out of a Rarity base, rehaired with Dollyhair Forget Me Not and Water Nixie, painted with acrylics and then sealed with Triple Thick. Her hair was styled with water only -- there is nothing else holding her hairdo in place and it's stayed like that for months! The glasses were sculpted out of Apoxie Sculpt, with magnets inside of her head and the glasses to hold them in place. And her head still turns, which is always a pain!
