My Boss is opening a new art gallery that I have helped him put some art together for and this will be a free poster given out to the first 50 guests at the gallery's grand opening this Saturday. We went with the bird from the logo design featured with a Mucha styled woman and backdrop for this one. Took about 16 hours or so.Related content

By the way, which painting programs do you use? Any tutorials you'd suggest to an aspiring digital painter?

We don't have prints of these since they were just promotion for the gallery and the art belongs to the company so I can't sell them as prints on here unfortunately. It sucks that our company is wholesale only since that means we can't do one offs for people, though Zazzle carries a lot of our images I don't believe they carry this one. I use photoshop for all of my digital art, I haven't played around with painter much, but I recommend tutorials by the artist to get you started if he still has them up, he also has a really awesome set of custom brushes.

You have just combined two of my top loves: Art Nouveau and Ballard, WA. I'm living on the east coast for now, but eventually my hubby and I will move back to our beloved Seattle. I'd love to visit this gallery when we're back in town.
