Yep, we sure did ^^ My best friend and I went to stay with our other best friend and his family and he showed us all over Streymoy (his island) and we visited Eysturoy too...it was ace

you just keep posting awesome stuff. I'm a bit at a loss for words today aswell, even though I didn't just get up. I'll try, though.
I don't have much to say about the composition. It is rather flawless, even tough it could, obviously, have been done differently. I'm curious what you could manage, emphasizing the church even more. Don't get me wrong though, it looks great in this composition aswell. The churches white contrasts rather splendidly against the darker rock in the background. Very soft lines, very deep perspective. This enhanced by the waterscape, giving the picture a flat surface. I guideline to the rest of the motive, if you will.
If I have to whine about something in all this awesomeness, it would be the skyscape. I don't know what you've done with it, but the uppermost part of the frame looks a bit.. well I don't know. As if you'd messed with the hues more than the rest of the picture suggests. I can see some clear sharing and stuff that looks almost like a lenseflare of some sort. This is quite minor, though, and something that I noticed quite a while into observing the photograph.
I particularly like, not mentioning the above already mentioned contrast of the church, The clouds around the mountaintops on the right, the quite sharp peak on the right, the waterfall on the right, the fence on the lower right and the overall appearance of the grassland. The jagged mountainsides look quite interesting aswell.
I definitely want to visit your little islands some day.

Well I guess you're getting tired of hearing me saying thank you all the time, but I just want you to know that it means a lot for me that you really take your time watching my photos and commenting... hehe funny fact, my girlfriend always agrees with what you're saying, and most of the time I think I am as well
