Early morning at Steamer Lane, Santa Cruz, Calif. The morning glare off the water led to some problem solving in regards to exposure. I experimented till I got it, what I hope is right. In any case... I like it

waking up to the songs of birds is always a bonus, then a quick surf session before joining the rest of humanity. Very special alone time.

I was lucky to grow up in an area where surfing was a standard thing to do... if you liked the ocean.
