Wow! Long time no see! My art block has finally started to disappear and I am getting back on track! I have been going through some rough times during the fall (probably the reason for my art block), but now I feel better and can finally relax without the pressure from school.This horse is supposed to look like my best friend Leopold, who was a Haflinger horse that I took care of a few years ago. He helped me a lot when I was feeling bad, but he got sick and had to move and I have never seen him since. I don't even know if he survived or not. It breaks my heart and I feel like I have to honor him somehow.

I know right ! I spent days trying to paint friggin snow in a recent submission of mine and my fiance strolled by and was like OH LOOK THE HORSES ARE ON CLOUDS and I'm like aSDFGHMJFDJHGSFRHARTJHRRETEGHTRL . It's so hard to get texture and balance with snow >_<
