This was so much fun. I love his designs and it was SO hard to choose just a team of six. I totally have a second team lined up, just not the time to draw them.

Reasons for choosing:

Coniferost (frog): I always use my starter through my first playthrough of a game. I love all three of the first stages here and had a hard time choosing between them, so I just went with grass, because most of the time I end up going with grass. The first stage, Pinepole, is freaking adorable, and the final stage is bulky with a lovely colour combination, and I love its personality.

Stegacore (stegosaur): I fell in love with this guy as soon as I laid my eyes on him. I love his bulky, solid look and the solar panel-like plates, his colours are gorgeous, and he's a dinosaur. I could totally imagine strolling alongside him, just taking in the view, or chilling on his back.

Sdream (fish): She looks so unique, I love the lip/mouth style and the bulbous nose, and just the general look, expression, and colours. She looks a bit like a fish turtle torpedo. And she looks misunderstood, a scary face but really a big funball. Plus, the concept behind her's so cool. I really liked the idea of one fish 'dying' and possessing the body of the other one (hence the ghost/water typing). It's something I would have never ever thought of and just ties the concept together.

Fluego (bug): I had a hard time choosing between everyone in this line, as they all have sick designs (lava lamp larva is such a good idea and executed so well). I settled on Fluego because I love the sleek, horse-like or mosquito-like form it has, and I normally evolve all my pokemon in the game to its final stage.

Cardinace (bird): I had a very hard time choosing between Frowlst and Cardinace, but I chose Cardinace because the red-ridinghood concept looks so good and I'm just drawn to the feel/personality Cardinace has. It's a little bit like Unfezant, where she is definitely my companion pokemon that I would keep out with me all the time. Also, the prevo is something I would find early-game and I love the prevo, so it made sense to pick it up and stick with it.

Cyacti (coyote): Cyacti is very sleek yet fierce, and just really feels like a bro-mon. Her expression is so animated and dead-on, and I really get a feel for her personality. I can easily imagine her moving and jumping and battling. The prevo is definitely something I would pick up as well.
