Description I haven't submitted anything in ages because my Dell laptop's motherboard shorted a month ago and Dell is being a jackass about fixing it even though it is under warenty (their so-called 'golden' reputation for service is cheaply guilded). Don't buy from Dell because they put you through Hell and I wouldn't want that for any human being. A few hours before it died though, I copied this image to a floppy. It is a still life, albeit somewhat incomplete (no framed painting on a wall) but other than that, it comes really close to matching the real life scene. Any comments or improvements I could make when/if I get my laptop back?

3DS MAX R3.1, Photoshop 6.0.

Hey, good to see something from you again. My suggestions:
-more lighting, so you can see the great textures you have a bit better
-more light on the glass, that way you can get cool relection/refraction effects going, as well as cast some more light on the vase, and the actual plant (maybe not directly, just more light in the scene in general)
-I like the floppy plant hanging over the side of the vase, thats a nice touch
-I like the feel of the scene in general too.
-I think you might have a rendering artifact (or an AA artifact) on the baseboard in the lower right corner of the picture, running on the top - but I'm not sure
-you should render at higher resolutions (when your computer is fixed, that hella sucks) so the detail is visible, again.

Anyway, I like this, like I said... good luck with your comp.
