Description
With the last breath of the birthday month of Aaliyah (born on January 16, 1979) I finished this picture of her. Hope you like it.
Started the painting at January 26th and finished on 31th (with a gap of not doing anything on this picture).

As I sometimes also look up the star, I know Aaliyah for more than 20 years now, but still learned something "new". Her parents, Diane and Michael, were both born in 1951. Both were also born in January, same month as Aaliyah. And they are only 1 day apart. Michael was born on Januar 10, 1951 and Diane omn January 11, 1951. Her brother Rashad is the only family member not born in January (August 6, 1977).

I can't remember when this photo was shot. It's most likely 2000 or 2001. She looks mature and confident with her body. Also she changed her style and makeup between the second (1997) and the third Album (2000).
