Years went on and I don't know if it was because of all the strange stuff I saw go on at Jenny's house...furniture floating, random monsters on there property and occasional robots, well after college I joined the Federal Paranormal Service.

The FPS's job was to hunt down paranormal activity and also provide tactical support for the so called heroes. In short we made sure when they caught someone the charges stuck. On occasion we would carry out our own missions without neo human help, but the public basically saw us as enablers. It was there I learned I had my own neo ability which explained how I survived my Christmas arrival and how no one else did.

I heal and I wish it was like one of those comic book heroes. You know where they get cut and then their wounds heal up almost magically with no pain at all. The truth is, it hurts, it hurts like hell, it hurts getting messed up which if I'm doing my job right that won't happen too often, but the healing process, depending on the injury it can hurt like hell. Making matters worse, I get the energy to heal from living beings, humans work perfectly but animals and fish will work too, but when I do that I drain them of their own life force. If no one is around when I heal myself (it's automatic) it feels like I'm starving, the more serious the injury the worse it feels, until I can make flesh on flesh contact with one of the above. For a small injury, they'll get a little woozy, bigger injuries...

The paramedics who found me after I had been thrown from a building found out the darker aspect of my ability, one died on the scene and the other died on the way to the hospital from extreme starvation.

Once my ability was found out, I was transferred to more dangerous gigs, figuring I could use my ability offensively in the field and be the FPS's little super agent.
