This is Nico...actually looking somewhat respectable. Anyway, her father was the late 'great' Nicholas Wilde, a demon hunter.   For centuries the Wilde's have been keeping the things that go bump in the night fiction. Part of a greater network of demon hunters who fear if the general public knew about the existence of these beings it would blow their minds. Nicholas, from what I'm told, was one of the greatest and then he got married to Miko, Nico's mom. From what Miko tells me, most of the other hunters thought that would slow Nick down, instead, paired with his wife he became unstoppable. When Miko became pregnant she took a break from demon hunting but once she had Nico and was back in shape, she was back out there in the field. Then one day, Nicholas didn't come back. He was killed and Miko barely made it out alive.
    Miko being the kind of woman she is didn't stop demon hunting and when Nico became 12 she started bringing her along. That's when she hired me to keep Nico safe. Now Nico is a hunter in her own right and at her 18th birthday the secret mucky muck demon hunter's acknowledged her as one, even if they don't acknowledge Miko as one.
    I was hired on as a partner and they may not acknowledge me or Miko as true hunters but between the three of us, we are quickly becoming the 'go to' team when shit gets real.
