She's bad, she's bad, and she's BAD. It's Risky Boots!
Finally got around to coloring the Inktober sketch of the villain of the Shantae games. Oddly enough, this ended up being a bit of a companion piece to an earlier Inktober sketch of Shantae herself.
Comparing this piece with the one of Shantae, I always had the impression that Risky is the older (and/or more combat-experienced) of the two, and I wanted that to be apparent on first glance. I originally intended to depict her with normal eyes, but after seeing some other art of her, I liked the jaundiced eyes better. Not only because it makes her complexion more appropriately villainous, but it really goes well with the purple.
Gah, I really wanna play all the Shantae games now.
