I'm just barely on my way into Homestuck, so I haven't gotten to the trolls yet, but regardless! I really like this, I have a passion for this flat and graphic kind of look-- the pen tool is like excalibur, and you clearly have a great grasp of it! I also love how curvy you made her, so well done!

HomeStuck is a really neat comic. You should keep on reading, too, since IMO it only gets better from there. xD
Thankyou. I love flat-looking artwork as well, and I love doing pin-ups and bright colours so this was perfect for me. xDD And yeah, I like to make my girls curvy, and I tend to favour the hips more than the breast. I dunno, big hips are sexeh. ;D
I actually did the entire thing in flash, though. What is this pen tool excalibur? I've never heard of it before.

Oh I've only worked in Flash once and that was a very long time ago! I think maybe how you do work like this is probably similar to how Photoshop and Illustrator create flat shapes, in both of those programs it's done using something called the pen tool :>

Yeah, I use the paintbrush tool to do my lines. I could animate my stuff too, if I felt like it. I know how. I'm thinking I might try doing some blinking pieces sometime. ^^

To be perfectly honest, none of the blinking flash animations have been very good before, so I think I'll have to brush up myself before I try it. :3
