I had a really bad urge to color. e_e I was looking at how to color in Paint Tool Sai with 's tutorial [link] i wanted to try it out so i got some lineart i had saved onto my computer just for this moment. I used 's free lineart of Hatsune Miku [link]
Hatsune Miku from Vocaloid, one of my fave Vocaloids!

I really like how the hair turned out, it took the longest, but it was so much fun experimenting with the layers and brushes to get that effect. I was going for that soft-shading that appears ususally on anime work, and i think i succeded on getting it.

LAYER CLIPPING IS THE MOST AMAZING THING YOU COULD HAVE IN DIGITAL ART. OMFG!!! Paint Tool SAI rocks. <3

Tools: Wacom Intous4 tablet, Paint Tool SAI, lots of music, and lots of Iced Sweet tea. >:C its so hot in my room!!!!
Time: Um, im not sure, about 5-6 hours? lost track |D
