The history of my railway Evercreech Central railway director was looking at the Pennsylvania H10s at Eastleigh locomotive work that is the closest to Southampton docks and was shunted by a local locomotive the Q1. The American presevertion locomotive group didn't even ordered a Pennsylvania H10s and left the engine in the back of the shed, till one day a GWR 2800 failed at Eastleigh with a heavy freight train the American presevertion locomotive group had heard about and decided to fire up the H10s and see what it can do, to the shock to them it performed so well the American presevertion locomotive group kept it for local freight train and going to presevered railways.
