Adult Life: Omnia has become something of an urban legend. She has traveled the world far and wide, though she always kept other ponies at a safe distance. Omnia's childhood was spent in a small community of ponies living far away from most other ponies. Her village consisted of nature-loving individuals who were much more in tune with the world around them than the more developed parts of Equestria. Omnia, along with a younger brother, was raised by parents with good intentions, but their community was small, so each new member needed to pitch in and work with the adults to ensure everyone had all the food, shelter, and safety they needed. Growing up as a part of such an insular community instilled within Omnia a strong sense of duty to those around her. She grew up to be a great survivalist, someone who could hunt and gather for her family. Her brother, who was being trained to follow in the footsteps of the elder healer, didn't survive to adulthood. Thus, Omnia needed to take on an additional responsibility, as her village cannot be left without another healer, should the elder pass on.
She didn't have trouble with her new role, at least not in terms of skill. But as she got older, and as she remained in her little village, something within her grew restless. Omnia began missing all the times she'd spend in the deep woods, patrolling the area for danger. She longed to fly, feel the wind beneath her feathers. She wanted to see more sights, experience something completely new. Omnia tried to speak about this to her closest peers, though they all urged her to control herself and think of the good of the community. And they were right, but the feeling wouldn't budge. It only grew stronger as time went on. She had a talent for healing, which would quickly outweigh her old duties. She barely had time to roam anymore, spending most of her days taking care of ponies and sick livestock.
Once teeming with enthusiasm, Omnia had been reduced to a dull, dutiful mare who could no longer find her love for the things she used to enjoy. She couldn't handle it anymore.
The next morning, she was gone. The pegasus had left behind everything that shackled her, though it also meant letting go of everyone and everything she loved. Omnia spread her wings and flew, refusing to land until she had crossed the horizon. As completely new land slowly replaced the familiar woods of her home, her Mark appeared. Though she could tell it was a flying bird, Omnia didn't have much of an idea of what it might mean. All that she knew is that she could never return to her old life again, and promised herself to only look towards the future.
From then on, Omnia strayed further and further from the village, exploring the forest, finding exciting new places, caves, dens and creatures she had never seen before. This did not go unnoticed by the other village ponies, especially due to the fact that Omnia often forgot to actually bring back any herbs, and she was urged to stay within a specific radius around the village. She had no choice but to obey.
Soon enough, her work became dull and boring. The ponies she worked with never really connected to her, leaving her rather lonely and quiet. She had already seen every place, turned every stone and explored every treetop, leaving nothing that was hidden or new to her. Each day, her desire to see the world grew stronger, and the bonds tying her to her home became weaker.
Now, Omnia wanders forests and mountains, always careful to only approach outskirts of populated areas. She learned to fully depend on herself and survive on her own... Until she met a rather special mare called Cherry Punch.
Cutie Mark: Her Cutie Mark is a stylized drawing of a bird with spread wings.
