Description It was high time to create a new piece and as I've been very nervous with work recently I wanted it to be something very tranquil. The result is a terragen waterscape of a planet called "Aurora", with a real grass texture and very blue and clear water. Creating the water was the hardest and the most pleasant part of all and also I really enjoyed the waterfalls.
Thanks a lot to redheadstock for the perfect birds brushes.

Very good achievmnet, very epic , the post work is exactly on the right places .
One just have to love the strong chromatics composition.

Thats exactly how everyone should work in 3d scenes. Not letting "nude 3d" rule its achievements. But visualize something more from the 3D base plate.

Terragen is quite difficult need a good machine .
You should reaaly consider work in terragen 2. Also vue Esprit 8 ...
But terragen always did some quite miracles that in other applications one cant get the same grade of natural spontaneous inspiration isnt ...

SO scenerys we got !

Now we need some histories to go along this wonderful dreaming places ...

The image would get a overall of 70 in 100 points .
Congrats ...

The water, and itΒ΄s edge to the land especially, is always difficult. But in your pic it looks real cool.
ItΒ΄s Terragen2 I guess...?

How much of this is Terragen and how much of this is painter/p-shop? I'm curious because I've toyed with Terragen, but never produced anything close to this in effect.

In Photoshop I added the grass texture (it became better than when I tried in Terragen), the waterfalls and the birds. Everything else is only Terragen. I really experimented a lot until I got this waterscape with all its details.

Thanks for the info. Perhaps I'll give Terragen some more love.
