I stood dumbfounded. It was the one question I was completely unprepared for. What could I say? Ten thousand books. Your Archives. I used to have dreams of reading there when I was young. True, but too childish. I want revenge against the Chandrian. Too dramatic. To become so powerful that no one will ever be able to hurt me again. Too frightening.
I looked up to the Chancellor and realized I'd been quiet for a long while. Unable to think of anything else, I shrugged and said, "I don't know, sir. I guess I'll have to learn that too."'

I love anything Kingkiller related so I love this. Just wondering though, do you draw people's eyes so high up on their face for a stylistic reason? One of the first things I was taught in art class was our eyes are exactly half way down our faces, it's our eyebrows that make it seem overwise since our brains often view them together. It's making my brain hurt to look at your characters haha

Lol fair question. That's not intentional. I think it's less that I draw eyes high up and more that I draw people's noses too long, which has the same effect. I'm aware of it but seem to have trouble correcting for it. it's a work in progress, ha.
