I had to. That new episode preview has started this new ship with me... AND OH GOD I LOVE IT.I'm really excited to see the rest of the episode. I hope - hoooooope - that it actually will turn out to be a crush situation between the two, because that would mean that Cartoon Network is now accepting openly gay/les characters.
(they're allowing crap like MAD and Regular Show on, where they curse and make absolutely inappropriate jokes, so it's about time that they show that they aren't homophobic.)
But yeah. I rushed this, forgot to shade some parts, BS'd the background, etc etc. But it's out of my system, and that's all that matters xDD

They're certainly HINTING at it (or perhaps "teasing" would be a more appropriate word? 
I honestly hope it develops into something concrete though. They'd be an adorable first step for for expanding the accepted norms in childrens animation... even if it was strictly 'subtextual'.
Hell, at this point I it really surprise me if Pendleton Ward decides to end the series polyamorously, just to troll all the shippers.

I don't think AT would want to be boycotted off the air, so they'll probably keep any subtext really hidden. I mean. Do you remember the fiasco over Spongebob? Spongebob?
