I really like how this looks.
I really like the amount of thought you clearly put into ditching the body armor, and choosing to change what he is wearing.
Jeans are not exactly military issue, but they definitely work well visually for this. Those boots are not standard military issue combat boots either, but they give him a nice swashbuckler flare.
There is only one change you made that strikes me as more than just an editorial change though, and, well, wrong. I think the shield is too small, by about 25%.

You're quite obviously a brilliant artist!
The costume is utterly perfect, and enough for me to get over the lower part of the body which seems weird. There's a manly edge and a feeling of boosted density to everything, especially the gloves and the mask which give your rendering the edge over others I think.

very nice! there is just one thing I noticed and you can call me out on it if I'm wrong. the ankles seem too narrow to me. the rest of the sculpture is amazingly detailed though. congrats on the DD

It's hard to tell from this far away but I love how you did the original Captain America, a lot of people forget about him. This looks so fantastic. I love how detailed you went into it to show the stitching in the fabric.
