Description
The longest night of the year belongs to him..Used: textured watercolor paper, watercolors, inks, acrylics.
It's my second try to draw something, that will scare my mother. But after I showed this drawing, my mum didn't afraid of the dragon. XD So, I failed again X'D
When I was drawing this picture, I thought about Halloween..

If I had thought to put the brown round the edge, my brain would have said no that's going to look horrible, and I would never have done it. Now I know to try everything I come up with because it could look as epic as this

И, думаю, дело не в деталях типа летучих мышек, паутине и порванных крыльях, а именно в атмосфере работы - ты творила её в хорошем настроении, со спокойным настроем, а чтобы сотворить что-то действительно страшное или злое надо просто выйти из себя и захотеть уничтожить вес мир! А этого лучше не делать)

darkeeeer, the colours are too bright. The dragon itself is more creepy than the previous one, but for me it looks like it's chilling on the beach in bright sunlight while some random day-bats fly by, haha XD oh now that sounded mean, sorry. Nice scaling, shading and highlights as always

Great work on the shading and little details. I love that little spiderweb, and the lanterns hanging from his horns are a nice touch, as well. He looks like he'd be perfectly at home roaming the skies on Halloween night.
As for scaring your mom, I'd try a more feral look. Leave out any jewelry or chains, keep it looking untamed. Showing a little bit of gore from it's latest kill might help with that, too. Also, no feathers or fins or fur. Those little tail fins are cool, but they kind of detract from the scary. Barbed or bladed tails are always good.

I think if you make a dragon based off an angler fish it may scare somebody.

This looks nice though, and definitely creepy! My mom is so much of a chicken she's scared by anything. Yours has guts, haha. I enjoy the harvest moon in the background though (reminds me of a harvest moon)
