Yeah, it's not that well known because it's older, but it's a really good series. ^^ Thanks!

You have my two top fave InuYasha couples and you drew/colored this so beautifully! I adore the SessxKag scene ^-^

Even thought I stumbled upon this piece from the SessxKagome club, my favorite will have to be Momiji and Kusanagi in this piece. I don't know that many people who even know Blue Seed. Many kudos for two couples I enjoy! :3

Momiji and Kusanagi? What are they doing here???
Although, lol, in the third movie, when jii-san takes out Suonga and calls it the sword of Kusanagi, I have to admit my first thought was "CARROT BOY!!! YAY!!!" lol

yeah. I loved that show. confused the heck out of my mom, though. "Why are they always yelling about origami???" Arigami, mom. Evil plant demons. She just shakes her head and walks away.
Wow, now that I think about it, there are TONS of similarities, aren't there??? Kagome/Kikyo = Momiji/Kaede, orochi no orochi = naraku, the protector dude (InuYasha = Kusinagi) is actually technically one of the enemy (demon/arigami) etc.
Except Kusinagi isn't as bone-headed and irritating as InuYasha can be, lol.

Hira--Akami In reply to Alycat [2010-02-11 17:01:18 +0000 UTC]
Yeah. But then, I think Kusinagi is a bit "older" (in comparative human years) than InuYasha, so it's not too suprising.
I forgot about Murakumo!

This is true, he is very much further along the maturity tree than IY. I think I must go rewatch this series again now.
He's the reason I started picking up on the similarities between Blue Seed and the IY cast. When Sess showed up and was all "full demon, blah blah blah" I went, "OMG, IT'S MURAKUMO!"

lol, yeah, my sis and I ordered it on Netflix one time and sat down and watched the whole series straight through. It was hilarious--we couldn't stop watching!

that's ok. I remember buying Outlaw Star on VHS, which was really hard to find. But we didn't have a DVD player, lol.

Yeah I distinctly remember my family having comcast and we used to have a channel called the Anime Network and that's where I watch Blue Seed, Princess Nine, and Full Metal Panic.

Yeah, someone had to show me the series before I even knew of it. It's not the greatest, but it is something. Kinda reminds me of Blue Gender. As for the pairing between Inuyasha and Kikyou, well all I can say is that you would be so attatched to Inuyasha or Sesshoumaru if you played the Inuyasha game. I think it's like the Curse of the Mask or something like that. But I HIGHLY recommend it as well as La Pucelle Tactics. It's the BEST game around!
I am not sure myself why I am such a huge fan of Inuyasha and Sango, but the couple just reaches out and grasps the confines of my heart. *sighs* You gotta love fan couples. ^^
And you are very much welcome. I'm sorry for the late reply. And to respond to your comment on Pudge Jr. thank you. Just wait until I make the series, then you can love it all you want. ^^

Yeah I know what you mean. I have a lot of games that I have yet to even play. I would like to but school is a more important priority. Though whenever I have free time it's more towards spending it drawing, reading or writing. I hardly watch television these days, so that can explain why I haven't been playing. And yes, fan couples do indeed rock!
Speaking of which... do you know the show Xiaolin Showdown by any chance?

AngelLymisty In reply to Alycat [2006-12-01 22:22:02 +0000 UTC]
*nods* Unfortunately, school is THAT important. It's nice to do something without having pressure on doing it. One thing I can't seem to cope with is math for some reason. Everything else is just mediocre to do.
It's a good show, kinda anime based but not quite. If it was anime, man I'd swear that people would be lining up to watch it. Though the reason I'm asking is because I'm submitting a COLORED drawing of Kimiko, the Xiaolin Dragon of Fire. I'm so proud of myself because it's the first drawing I ever colored. ^^ I'm working on submitting it today.

Really? Wow, I never knew that. o.o I'm assuming it's something worth while if you're doing it. And yes, math can be so evil at times, but we can't live without it.

Well writing is one of the best past times if you can come up with some good stories, or find some to read. I have a friend around here that was about to start horseback riding lessons for a job, though I haven't heard about it much as I would of expected. If her compy would work, then she could of given me an update.
Librarian... in a way it does sound fun, but at the same time it's too silent. Not saying the job can be horrid, but it does have its advantages in some way and its disadvantages. If it's too silent for too long, then I start to pass out. Shame on me... but even though I'm surrounded by books, it wouldn't keep me awake that long. Now working in a bookstore filled with manga and what-not now there's something I can keep awake to even if I had only thirty minutes of sleep! ^^

Well since it snowed here, I'm not sure it's going so well now. But yes, I do hope her the best. Plus she's such a good artist too. She can at least color her art...
I was going to ask why you quit your job if it was so good, then I just realize you do have a job. ^^0

Back to the library? HELL no, not if I can help it. I hated that job with a passion.
