i won't upload many holiday photos, i don't want to flood your inboxes with too many things you don't want to see (since most of you watch me for my terragen or terraspace). But here's one i liked. On the left is the mountain "jungfrau" which i believe means "young lady (or virgin [thanks ~ agelaius ])". I didn't get a picture of it but there is a station up there called the "jungfraujoch" which is the highest point reachable by tourists (Without aid of climbing gear/specialist equipment - it's a train ride [thanks again :devagelaius]) in europe. I have some pictures from up there that i might put into scraps.... but yeah.Related content

dude, I've been there! I grew up close to it, and have been to the Moench and Eiger, which are the neighboring mountains. This is my home country! I love it!

I love the Alps! I only got to see a bit of the Bavarian Alps, but it just made me want to see more. I'm sure I'll make it back there some day. Great shot! Love the angle. Works well in sepia too.

whoa...this is so gorgeous! I love the angle of the shot....that's pretty cool. And the color...I love sephia. Plus the look of the side of the mountain part...compaired to the buildings...THAT looks so neat!

Looks pretty peaceful there.... but then, I don't know if I can ever live in an area where things are limited in technology. I'm a technical kind of person so I guess I'd be lost w/o any kind of fancy electronic and computer equipment around.

The monochrome colouration of the scene gives it a nice mood,
like an old picture, like we are viewing the picture before its time,
or maybe it depicts sorrow? Perhaps this is before the land was corrupted, longing for the past?1
the monochrome colouration with the scene is really quite good for invoking mood.
The composition of the image is pretty good too,
The extention of the sky is nice & spatious,
& its really nice how the building is so close to the mountains,
Switzerland looks really cool hehe
The actual scenery is really sweet here,
the tree's, mountains, lone cloud,
very very nice naturalistic blend.
*wants to goto switzerland* ha.
If i had to nitpick something, the sky is a tiny bit grainy,
besides from that this is a pretty perfect picture.

anyways a nice picture, I especially love the perspective. it underlines the size of all the mountains, and you have some nice detail. the sepia generates that typical old look, but yeah, if works pretty much here. I also like the shadow of the cloud
