Description Nightcrawler yo. I can't believe this is the first time I've drawn him, I love me some Kurt.

I spent muuuuch longer on this than I'd intended, but I feel like I learned a thing or two while doing it, so I guess it balances out.

I think this looks amazing. It all works so well. There are some fantastic lines mixed with some brilliant colours. I keep scrolling up to look at it because it's just so good. This is good enough to be on a comic book cover or a poster or something professionally printed. It's as good as anything else you see.

Ah thank you! I felt pretty good about this one, especially since it just started out as a warmup sketch type thing, so I didn't use any reference on the pose. There are definitely a few places I can see where the anatomy is kinda wonky as a result, but yeah, overall I'm happy with how it turned out.

Oh my gosh, seriously though....this comment has made my day, and my gut reaction is to be like "oh no, it's so bad, it's garbage, it's not professional at all!" buuuut instead I'm just going to go ahead and take the compliment, because it is giving me warm fuzzy feelings.

Thanks! Haha me too, loooooove Nightcrawler. Well, most versions of him. Some writers just don't know how to take care of him...but! That doesn't diminish my love for the little guy.

It's Kurt! He's always been my favorite X-Man, and you drew him really well. I love the way you did his face and hair, plus you went with the classic costume!

Thanks! Mine too, loooove Kurt. Haha, had to go with the classic costume! Actually that was a super tough choice, because he's had a /lot/ of really cool costumes...but in the end I went with the classic version because that's the one he was wearing in Excalibur, which was the first comic I read with him in it.
