Woo, a gift for as a part of secret santa! It was tons of fun. And gave me an excuse to use coffee again Which means that it has this sheen in places that the scanner just couldn't pick up.I hope that you like it!
I know that the composition is off, and that the wing anatomy is not exactly the greatest, but critique on everything else is more than welcome!
Done in acrylic, ink and coffee.
I'm more than willing to ship it to you if you so wish, provided that you cover expenses. But that is completely optional

Well, first off thank you very much for the critique, I appreciate it.
I'm not quite certain what you mean with the cute and adorable bit. Are you saying its mouth is adorable? Or the dragon in general?
As for the background, while I admit that landscapes etc are a definite area of weakness that I do need to work on, with these works I actually have no desire for a realistic background, preferring to work with more abstract shapes. I'm trying to work on merging the figure and background, and creating harmony between them, while simultaneously separating them. That still has a way to go, but I personally much prefer it in general to more realistic backgrounds. Its a concious decision there.

Yes I mean the whole dragon is cute and adorable for me but I like how you draw the face expression. That is unfortunatly not wanted but I find it cute and sexy. Don't ask why, but that is true.

First thing I can say is this artwork is from a professional. You know what you're doing, and it looked like from first glance, a master piece, and it is. Well, if I made this, I'd be very proud of it, and I hope you are too.
The back-round is very clever, and the structure of the dragon and how it's roaring is clear, and messy at the same time, and both in a good way. Not many people can do that.
Technique is, of course, a 5. It seems nearly impossible how you ca make such a 'fragile' dragon, yet make the back-round so brilliant at the same time? The way you painted (I think?) the dragon's face without letting the back-round come to destroy it is beyond me. Because of how you delicately paints the dragon, back round, and simply made it blend, is art to the extreme.
I DO NOT KNOW WHAT ORIGINALITY IS SO I GAVE IT A FIVE AND A HALF.

coffee is amazing to work with. YOu should give it a go. If you make it really thick, it gives off this sort of glowy sheen. Which looks terrible on scans, but amazing in rl.
