Before this time period there were many ancient races, including ancient Humans, Precursors, Leviathans, Engineers, Isu, Martians (Doom), Forerunners, Protheans, Chozo, Tau Volantis Natives and Cybertronians who inhabited the Galaxy, and many intergalactic civilisations and organisations who had a presence in the Milky Way as well, their history is yet to be explored in detail. Nighthood is character created for the Amalgamation Universe, heavily influenced by the Assassins and Batman Arkham Games, Batman Beyond and Red Hood. This was a massive group project/effort and I couldn't have done it without help. The line art was done by the talented Spartan-A21 , Digital Colouring done by Sombraptor and I added the concept, instruction, backstory and digital deffects to the art.

His story starts back in the age of heroes timeline, his name is Damon Mathew Wayne, and he's the grandson of Damian Wayne, and by extension a descendant of Bruce Wayne. In the Amalgamation Universe Damian Wayne (grandfather) fell in with the Assassin's Order after a massive conflict between the order/creed and Ra's Al Ghul's "League of Assassin's" order. The Wayne's connections to Ra's order was compromised when Assassin's from the Creed began targeting Ra's men for stealing a piece of Eden, to which of course Ra's had ill intentions. An agent of the Creed's order was impressed by Damian and Bruce's martial, cognitive and stealth skills upon infiltrating their mansion and sought them out for help. Their adventure's grew troublesome for both parties, as Bruce had distaste for the Assassin's methods and they of course had distaste for his. Damian was happy to be among assassins again and of course shared no love for his grandfather's order after his betrayal. Damian would later join the Assassin's Order after the War between heroes and so would his children when learning of Templar influence among Wayne enterprises.

Plagued by the burden of the super-human registration act which forbade vigilantism, Damon's parents, (Damian's children) reluctantly trained there son in secret not just the ways of an assassin and all the combat prowess that comes with it but the skills of the corporate world as well.

Following in the footsteps of all Bat-Vigilante's, tragedy involving his parent's struck; at the tender age of 12 they disappeared, without a word from anyone they were just gone. Damon continued the tradition of both his family and the order by becoming his own anti-hero, a Vigilante who beats up street thugs, but kills murderers, rapists and Templar agents, he still continues the search for his parents, or at the very least, closure of what happened to them.
