I can't tell if you were going for seductive of calm/cozy but I prefer to think the latter mostly because it makes me feel that way. I love how you're putting more efforts into detailing the backgrounds. The cutiemark looks slightly faded, almost like a crayon drawing, but the background, face, and hair are my favorite part of this piece.

Well you nailed the look of contentment. That's how I chose to view it in the first place. She feels tired and cozy, and the colors only add to it.

wow, I have to really say in terms of colors this is really impressive! A lot of your work tends to focus on local color and black shading- but using the cool color to shade here really brings out Applejack and truly tries together the background while adding depth to the piece!

oh that's cool! Yeah, adding saturation (or filters to saturate) at the end of a picture can really make you realize how dull an image's color palette may have had before and really get that last spice you need to complete the picture. Sepia tones are also really pretty! They give such a unified, sometimes rustic look
