She does. I was tired of drawing those giant clunky salami fingers on every character. And I found tiny hands to be more suitable for her than anything long or big or wide.

I love this. The stylization of it makes it really stand out from anything else you've done (recently, at least) and it's wonderful to see you've taken a new approach to a piece of art. One thing I'd have changed is the size of her hand. The arm and wrist are excellent, but the hand looks to me as if it should be bigger, even if it is stylized (although I'm notorious for small hands myself!).
It's excellent to see your own style showing through, even though this is something new-- especially in the nose and eyes.
Some of the parts that make me smile most, are the little details. Like the tufts of hair sticking out, the badges on her bag, the way the pattern of the shirt moves with the fabric, and her flat-looking feet.

I think I really tired of that style I used on characters like Cid and Ammy, because I wasn't really comfortable with it. It didn't 'flow' with my sketchy cartoonie style, and when I do something that doesn't suit me, it's guaranteed to be crap!
As with the hands, I partly agree with you only because it does look a tad bit too tiny. But I was genuinely going for the small delicate hands look, because underneath the baggy clothes is a rather skinny, small person. xD Plus I'm sick of the sausage fingers I'm constantly drawing up.
