The chains are a basic motif, and they were a great choice for the background. You did a good job on the lower half of the outfit especially, getting a sort of plastic, leather type fabric look. The pose is rather typical too, but it's usually because gothic paintings are originally based in a time of uncertainty and the beauty in sadness as an emotion was hitting the limelight..I do like the delicate reach of the arm and the rather subdued movement in the hair..The floral print in the middle of the outfit is rather nice too!
