Shepard's Dream
"Mama, mama. Look Kolyat has agreed to be our Christmas tree!" said Joshua Shepard
"Kolyat, that is so nice of you to do that." said Shepard. "And Aisa? Do you know what every Christmas tree needs?"
"A Star on top!" the little drell girl placed the star on top of Kolyat's head, much to his annoyance.
"Father, can you help me out here? Your wife here is letting her kids tie me up with these archaic lights."
Thane was of no help to Kolyat b/c he couldn't stop laughing at the situation that has befalling his son.

After some time has passed, Shepard and Thane left the kids with Kolyat with sounds of Aisa yelling 'Enkindle This' with her Blasto doll. Shepard gave Thane a tender hug, "Thane, I'm really happy to be able to spend this Christmas with you."
"I knew it meant a lot to you Siha."
"I'm so glad, you were able to get better, I never told you anything but it really tore me up inside knowing you were dying and there was nothing I could do to help you."
"I'm glad I'm here to."
As Shepard leaned in to kiss Thane...

Shepard awoke on in her cabin on the Normandy. As she got up, Thane awoke as well.
"Siha, did you have a bad dream?"
"No..., it wasn't a bad dream, not at all."
"Did you want to talk about it?"
Shepard went to lie back down and covered herself with the side of her blanket, "No, it's okay, besides I already forgot it anyway."
"Whatever you say." Thane went to lie down himself.
Shepard looked back at Thane and thought to herself, "That dream was the first good one I've had in a very long time but no doubt about it" Shepard put her arm around Thane,
"that dream, was so cruel."

A little sad Christmas story for Shepard since Bioware decided to make very sad last March. I love my little drell girl Aisa! Maybe if I have time, I'll draw her grown up!
