WOW. It's been like two months, maybe longer, since I drew this little brat, ROFL.

Col-Erase Prismacolor is the medium.

As usual, my "cartoon style" Draco Malfoy from JK Rowling's Harry Potter books--specifically from book six, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. This was, as almost always lol, inspired by an rpg with my wonderful, creative friend In the scene, Draco has been taken for the day to a werewolf colony by Fenrir Greyback, and has stumbled across both Remus Lupin and Haylin Daire ( 's primary OC), a close friend and surrogate older brother whose membership in the Order of the Phoenix has slightly estranged them. A rather dense former friend of Haylin's, also a werewolf, steps up and begins to harrass Draco's friends, and in...lol a scary degree of anger, Draco sneers and bares a certain mark on his left forearm. No, in the interest of not spoiling anything, I'm not gonna say whether this is canon or rp invention.

FINALLY someone who LIKES this picture! LOL. I loved it honestly when I finished it and it was like..nobody else except my closest friends did...so it's nice to hear a real honest opinion on it that is POSITIVE lol.

This is a very curious picture for me, actually... LOL. It... kinda looks like your Draco, but... not... 0.o which is VERY WEIRD AND COOL. HAHA.

I mean, I see your usual Draco in the mouth and nose, but the rest of him (his eyes and hair) is so... Furuba! HAHA. I'm using Furuba as an adjective, LMFAO. At least... I THINK that's an adjective, right? It's 3:30am. I really don't care if it's a freaking prounoun... LMFAO XDDD

DAMN girl you are GOOD. I didn't mention it, but I deliberately used Takaya's Furuba style for the hair and, possibly unconsciously, the eye shape! HAHA. XD;;; I actually like this Draco better, he seems a bit more streamlined. At least the hair does. I think I shall stick with the hair yesss my Malfoy shall take over the worllldd slowwwly >;F

what are these favs for?

I use fav galleries of other people to find more art and appreciate it, when they have a lot of drawings of various artists. Because, if I like a piece, I go automatically visiting the page of said artist. Hence I de-faved my gallery a bit--I mean, I've kept from every artist at least one fav but when I had 10 from the same person, I deleted 5...

Or is there another meaning for favs?

I fave work that I believe to be truly effortful, thoughtful, thorough, and emotionally or psychologically evocative. To me, these are the traits of a work which culminates all of an artist's most compelling visual inventions I do not believe in flattery, nor do I believe in democratically spacing out an artist's number of faves based on who he/she is or isn't. If I think something sucks, be it by a friend or a stranger, I won't fave it. Similarly, if I think something is excellently crafted, I will fave it, regardless of whether I have faved a high volume of works by the same artist. I also believe that doing so is my favor to my fellow artists by offering them some publicity, as my pagecount is fairly high and I therefore get a lot of traffic through it, and it will nicely advertise the versatility of other artists.

This is my logic on faving. If you want me to unfave some of your stuff, though, lol I can rofl. However, I believe that flattery is a disservice to an artist, so the fact that I have faved half your gallery simply indicates that you have, in my eyes, made a fairly large number of successful pieces.

Wow, this is very good stuff. Yes indeed, his eyes- the pupils- are definitely what make the whole emotion/mood of this picture stand out; you captured the sheer anger in his eyes perfectly. And I like how his nostrils are flared, too.

I still agree with your theory about Draco being... yeah, you know, lol. It makes perfect sense; all the signs are there in HBP.

mmm, I think the sharpness of it (while conforming to rowling's standard at the same time) adds to the mood and adds to the kind of uh... stuck up? aspects of the character. just my opinion though lol, which I guess everybody is going to have a different one about a book character. and who doesn't love drakeeeeeeey XD lol

Un-Draco ish by whose standards? If it's a matter of your personal taste for Draco's depiction, then it doesn't help me much because I just go based on the books, which say he has a small and very pointy nose. I do what Rowling says because she's the creator and the boss
