...Draco Malfoy's children, giftart for 's birthday today! I had wanted to have this DONE by today but life conspires against us sometimes! At least she has the sketchie!

In the epilogue of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, there is a 19-years-later segment. It shows Draco healthy and alive with an unnamed wife and a child, Scorpius (officially the most ridiculous name EVER for a child, but it goes with the family tradition of astral names relating various star bodies lol). The little boy is described as Draco's visual clone. Lucinda and I built upon this to support her longtime oc Joan Elle Norris's relationship with Draco--we were elated to see that he didn't necessarily end up with Pansy Parkinson, who always brought out the worst in him, imho, (if it had been Pansy she surely would have been named). Joan Elle is the daughter of English and Scottish pureblood wizard and witch who moved to France to attend Beauxbatons. She followed her late parents' lead but not after developing a fascination--even attachment--with Draco, the most popular boy in her House, Slytherin. In our rpg's rivalry becomes puppy love becomes real love becomes engagement between Draco and Joan Elle--eventually, when CANON enabled it for us, marriage.

It is never said that Draco has one child, and we thought it amusing to have him end up a father of several in a faint echo of the Weasleys whom he so disdains. Therefore Draco marries young and Scorpius is his youngest child, 19 years later. His oldest is Orion, shown here in the middle (a constellation in which the star Bellatrix is situated, as well as the name of Draco's great uncle Black). Orion, or Rye, will be a Ravenclaw. On the left is middle child Alameisan, also with various astral connotations adding up to being a "star in her father's eye" (awww lol) and phonetically sounding like "in the house," or "core/heart of the household" in French (a la maison). Alameisan, or Ally, will be a Slytherin. Far left and closest to the viewer is the canonically mentioned little Scorpius, at about age five. It's not said what his House is, and considering asshole-moron Ron Weasley's (I love ALL the Weasleys EXCEPT Ron, it's kind of amusing...) continued prejudices and grumbles about Scorpius's existence, I think it'd be hella funny if he ended up in Gryffindor and were like the next Sirius-esque renegade in the Malfoy-Black line.

Anyway, HAPPY BERFDAY, LUCIENNE and I hope to have this finished SOON.
