Description Created in Apophysis 2.06c for *CabinTom 's current contest. Render time: 10 hours.

I had so much fun making this, and a bitch of a time naming it. Apparently, my gift for naming these things has flown out the window.

You must be so patient. I complain if I have a 4 hour render time in UF, and that only happens with 3D and really complex fractals. This is a beautiful piece.

LOL, it's not really patience, it's merely the wonders of a dual processor. Set one to render, and use the other to play games. Gotta love technology!

Lucky you! I bought an emachine a few years ago to use as a backup. Then, when my son's computer crashed I gave him my (much better) HP, figuring I could get by on the cheaper one. I do, but it's v e r y s l o w!

I used to have an eMachine, and I've learned that the most productive use of one is recreating the printer smashing scene from Office Space. I feel your pain there.

I love the fractals that look unplanned and somehow organic - regardless of the textures or content...this is lovely!

This fantastic fractal is now being featured
in the NEWS ARTICLE~ 'Fractal Friday's Wall of Wows'!
[link] Way to go~ excellent fractal!
(p.s. I normally submit this article from my `Sophquest account,
but I happened to be on *SophStock when working on it
earlier and didn't realize which account I was on! )

You're welcome. ^^

I have trouble naming things a lot as well.

LOL, yeah, that's why I love spam emails. I get great titles from some of them.

Spam emails? Interesting. I get names from almost anything. Mostly from the artwork itself, but also outside; usually being the sky. But only in the winter. Only time it's cool enough to come out of hibernation. Seriously, the fall is boiling this year, isn't it?

I live in the middle of the desert; anything less than 80 degrees is sweater weather here. And it's actually *colder* than normal right now--I've had to start wearing sweaters for my morning walks, which I usually don't have to do until mid-October at least.

Miss Amberwind, have I told you lately how much I love your fractals?

Well, I may not be capable of offering smart comments about the technique of fractaling itself, but I really do love looking at what you make. I wish I was better able to offer intelligent comments, but.... I OFFER MY SUPPORT INSTEAD.

Hey, your comments are more in-depth than 99% of the comments left by people who actually know the programs and *could* make smart comments. Don't knock yourself.
