Well, here we're going to my grandfaters' house, and there we're going to eat some traditional dishes (or, in the worst case, pizza xD).Then, we eat a cake that my mom baked, and drink coffe or cinnamon.
And xD next, we goin to my aunt's house to dinner (again xD) chicken, and get some dessert and candies and choclates :3
At the end of the party, we have a interchange between my family members.
It's really nice :3

Well ^^u about the english... I had english classes in the college since kindergarden xD Right now I'm in third grade of High scool (I have 14 years old, I don't know how the school years are there...)
Here, the school years are:
3 years of Kindergarden
6 years of Elementary School
3 years of High School
3 years of Special High schoool (Preparatory xD I don't know how is called there...)
The years of the University
I'm in 3rd grade of High School, so, it make 12 years with english in my college xD and, also, I'm studying japanese, and the classes are in english, so...
I'm really accustomed at the language ^^uu
But don't worry! spanish is always difficult to lears because all the conjugations and forms of grammar, but don't give up!

Ah, that makes so much sense!! I'm 14 too, but I've only been taking Spanish for about...2 years. And I can read it and understand it okay, but speaking it is a whole other issue >_<
Like, I can say basic things like "How are you?" and "I like..." but not very much
It's pretty similar here! You have:
2-3 years of Preschool
1 year of Kindergarden
5 years of Elementary school
3 years of Jr. High
4 years of High School
Then collage
So...it's pretty much the same, just called different things! ^_^

Yeah, it's very alike
But
I understand perfectly my teachers, but when a person that always speak english tell me something, it's hard for me to understand at 100%! D:
For example, some weeks ago, my college bring a New Zealand teacher to gave us a class (my college usually bring people from other parts of the world, like Canada, USA, Japan, France, etc. to make us become accustomed to conversate and understand in english) , and I understood just like a 60% of the things he said! D:
The acent is a pain in the ass D: !!
So, don't worry. It's always hard to understand at all, even if you have years of practice xD so don't feel bad if you don't get all the spanish stuff ^^u

XDDD I think the problem is the US doesn't care as much about teaching the kids other languages as other countries are. Which is annoying >_<
But it's SO cool you guys get different speakers and stuff, though I can see how the accents would be tough. My grandparents have very heavy Danish accents and I sometimes have trouble understanding what they are trying to say
-sigh- BUT! I got an 80 on my speaking and writing exams in Spanish! ...I got a 69 on the vocab, and that's usually my best subject
But it's still an improvement on the other ones!
