I think the color adds to the style (it sorts of look like a watercolor painting) but you're right it seems a bit pale. (you can always redo it or use what you've learnt from this and maybe in your next piece you can amp up the color vibrancy)

I have problem with vibrant color. I tend to pick soft color and if I wanted it to look brighter/darker,, I just manipulate the top layer properties. But this one, I sort of forgot to do that.
