Uta from Tokyo Ghoul was requested by Dantes-lil-GirlHonestly, I'm kind of sad 'cause he was the only male character people requested me to draw. (So of course I had to draw him, plus dude's totally awesome). I'm starting to think that you guys doubt my ability to draw males. I wanted more guys.
I have only read the manga from Tokyo Ghoul and ironically (when I got the request to draw Uta) I had just read the first chapters which featured him. I fell in love with the dude at the first glance. Sadly, for whatever reason, it's really, really hard for me to got into Tokyo Ghoul. Whenever I read it I quickly lose interest. So yea, under the span of two months I have barely read seventeen chapters

I watched 2 seasons of Tokyo Ghoul, I may need to read it now though because I don't think the anime follows the manga well or something. Maybe try to watch some of it and see if that gets you more interested in the manga? May help. ><

The anime doesn't follow the manga at all you're right about that, plus other people have told me that the anime isn't really worth it, so if I ever chose to engage in Tokyo Ghoul I should go for the manga. In all honesty right now I simply don't have the time to start something new I'm already going through Naruto and it already takes up way too much of my study time. I really, really should concentrate more on my studies, but I always somehow manage to find a distraction.

Oh geez, then yeaahhh I should definitely pick up the manga myself then. I'm terrible at reading manga though. XD Hard to sit still and read something instead of watch. But i suppose I'm SOL on that. Pff Yeaahh Studies are much more important, good luck fighting the urge and distraction!

I'm the opposite. I rather prefer to read (I'm starting to think that I'm a read addict) and set my own pace. I can get really annoyed sometimes at the pace the anime has.
