Heaven forbid the two of us ever meet in real life--I have a very strange sense of humor (inherited from my dad) and the ability to out-deadpan Tommy Lee Jones. There have been more than a few times where I've said something sarcastically and people suddenly look at me like "Why didn't we think of that?" I'm not sure whether to be embarrassed by that or relieved that my powers can only be used for good. 👍: 0 ⏩: 0
Also, my brother and I love to take potshots at each other all the time. While we both know we're just joking around, people around us have wondered how we can hate each other so much, when we're both just being snarky. It's lots of fun, though, because he gives as good as he gets.
My family is the exact same way.
Also, whenever my dad announces that he's going to the hardware store for any reason, I always say, "Bring me back a hitchhiker."
