Description
I rarely paint a background, but this time i want to challenge myself to do it... it take times, but Im satisfied with the result.. the original size is about 6000px wide and a lot of details in it . In the end i had to blur out the burned temple and some of the other detail because i want Lara to be a main focus in this artwork.Related content

Just put the texture on top of the painting and change the transfer mode, usually I use overlay mode.

I think the background is really awesome.
With all the smoke, soot, heat and vivid colours.
The details are fantastic. Insane.
I enjoy staring at the texture of the wood.
It gets to the point where I want to touch the screen to feel the wood, even if I may get splinters.
But I must say --
The chaotic atmosphere and her calm expression juxtaposed like that is what I love most.
Usually , how long do you take to complete a piece like this?
I am very curious.

Wow... I try to compose myself and say something more substantial, but "wow" pretty much summarizes all that
And, ah, the beauty of working in his res! I've learnt myself more than once that the larger the canvas the more fun the process brings. Though I never take bigger than 5000 otherwise the process of saving files drives me nuts.
