Description Tragedies Occur

Yeah, tragedies occur sometimes.
That’s life; you got to get over it though.
Can’t get stuck on the rock that makes us trip on the floor…we got to get up despite the fact that we’ll have a scar on our knee forever.
That’s life, it brings good, it brings bad!

I’M EXTREMLEY PROUD OF THIS PHOTO, ONE OF MY PERSONAL FAVORITES AS WELL. I THINK I LIKE IT EVEN MORE THAN THE FALL ONES I JUST SUBMITTED. THEY WERE TAKEN I BELIEVE ON THE SAME, BUT IN TWO VERY DIFFERENT AREAS. THIS IS A BURNT DOWN FOREST… ALTHOUGH SOME WOULD SAY IT LOOKS SO UGLY TO SEE RUN DOWN TREES AND NO LEAVES, I THINK IT’S A NICE CHANGE….

Enjoy!

The sweep of the clouds is remarkable.

I thought at first that is was a spruce bog, such as we have in north Ontario. They are also beautiful in all their rotting, fallen helplessness.

Hmm. I like it, but your title is an artificial extension of the photo's meaning.

Hey there...
This shot means a lot to me.. It looks a lot like the photos we took a few days after the storm (Katrina).. What we saw around here was a lot of the same.. although here there were a lot of down trees from the high winds.. Wonderful photo..

It's not often that I find monochromatic/greyscale imagery good, but I love how this piece has come out! There's just something about it. Keep it up!

hmm. it feels like the trees are pointing triumphantly at the sky in defiance. they have a power in them that can't be burned away or erased.

nice work!
