This is my Model of the Month entry to the Magic Girl/Guy theme. This time, I have a whole bunch of explaining to do about what I did.
龍美善(Long Mei Shan) (Western reading style: Mei Shan Long) Long meaning dragon, Mei meaning beauty, and Shan meaning good, friendly, kind.
Mei Shan is your typical high schooler, except she has many secrets kept from everyone else. In her classmate's eyes, she is a kind soul who will never dream to hurt anything. Little do they know, her personality is the complete opposite. She actually has a short temper, and can burst at any time.
She had learned to control her temper so that nobody will find out. Why? It is because she didn't want anymore attention on herself. She will reveal her true personality
to close friends.
Name reasoning: Mei Shan's parents wanted a beautiful little girl who is kind and friendly. Little did they know, they recieved a daughter who was completely opposite.
Costume Reasoning: The black and red both symbolise dark emotions, so that is why I chose them. The mask represents the false side of her, masking over her true face.
Under the mask is dark emotions, which the colours represent.(I know black and red are not magic girl colours, but I think it suits Mei Shan.)
The necklace she is wearing is a family emblem. It has the Chinese word "dragon" on the gem, and is also used to summon the dragon that fights alongside her. The wand
she carries can turn into a fighting stick (Like the one monkey king has) The powersource of the wand is the red gem ontop.
