Description I watched Corpse Bride today, since nothing else was going right. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I absolutely loved the animation work! And that special feature afterwards (about the dolls) just floored me. I had NO idea they'd gotten so complex!! I was still in the Wallace and Gromit era where you can actually see thumbprints in the clay. *fangirls slightly*

Sketched this while watching it and threw colors on in about fifteen minutes. Drawn in col-erase and graphite, colored in Photoshop.

This is the only time I've attempted it. But I don't think I'll do it again for a while. It was too eerily similar to my dangerously anorexic sister.

I'm not. It's just a messy topic. Something I never expected to deal with in my lifetime, especially not in my own family.

I think this is The Nightmare Before Christmas rather than Corpse Bride. But, yes, it IS Tim Burtonized.
It looks like Sally: [link] )
May be you look like Sally, I don't know.

Is there a coloured version? (not like coloured as bright colours, but like dark colours). I really want to see.

Amazing and fav.

Oooh, I love Tim Burton and his style. It's just so... So... Well, I suppose spidery is as good a word for it as anything else. But it's so unique. And the way he makes his characters move in Corpse Bride. *.* It's amazing.

Good drawing by the way. You've really caputer that typical Burton style with the big head and thin bodies. Well, the heads ain't that big, but you know what I mean. ^^ Good job! *thumbs up*

AmyClark In reply to TovarasNightroad [2006-02-15 03:41:00 +0000 UTC]

Yes! The movement was great. I was floored by the amount of work they put into the Bride's costume. It flowed so well!

TovarasNightroad In reply to AmyClark [2006-02-15 09:52:04 +0000 UTC]

I know! I came in with pretty darn high expectations (I am a Tim Burton fanatic) and I came out with all the expectations well pleased. The songs were great (Danny Elfman played the Singing skeleton! ), the movements, everything! And the design. *swoons*
