Description Felt like doing something sort of moody and atmospheric - I was experimenting with intentionally muted colours (well, muted for me). I started more or less in greyscale, then added colour once a lot of the lights and darks were done; overall I left it kind of loose.

I usually shoo the fml bird away as soon as I realise he's roosting on my shoulder again, but I thought this time I'd let him perch long enough to do a portrait. c: c:

As usual, comments totally welcome~~~

This is such an atmospheric piece-- reminds me of CdeL a lot too! They have a Group on here--maybe think of submitting it there? (If you want to?

Beautiful work! The brightness of the bg really makes her pop, love the colours on this.

Those yellow and turquoise touches to the background really make the portrait stand out. My favorite part of the picture has to be the woman's eyes. The nose is trying to garner all the attention of the face, but there's such a perfect touch of emotion in the eyes, I feel like they're what sets the tone of the entire picture.
