D's BOYFRIEND, immortal through a contract with the secret (represented here as a giant floating raven skull, unfortunately does not actually ever appear as a giant floating raven skull even though that would be hilarious), mage/mercenary, also 1000x more badass than Corosa and Satero combined. Then again I can find things in the trashcan that are more badass than Corosa and Satero combined...
He has a bajillion tattoos because he is a giant man whore. Actually they're part of a magic system, and they either protect him or strengthen his magic. He's still a giant man whore though.
Also if he ever wound up in Thrice, Chauvin would shoot him on sight.
Unfortunately that is Jean Chauvin's default reaction to everything.
The tattoo on his face is there specifically to make D stay the fuck away from him when Wraith decides to take a break from being D's boyfriend. D cries, meanwhile somewhere far away Wraith is too busy being badass and punching sharks to care.

Also the reason why D starts wearing the great big stupid hat later on. It's not in this picture but yes Wraith took to wearing a great big stupid hat for a while, he started the fashion. The hat D wears is not actually Wraith's hat (even though that would be dramatic or something), because I think Serat eats it first. Serat is kind of a great big winner and everyone is proud of him.
Wraith is totally jealous that Serat (who is... 99% Khartan and 1% Wraith's ethnicity) inherited the berserker-rage of Wraith's people and Wraith didn't. Seriously Serat didn't even inherit the fucken teeth that asshole. Whenever Serat berserks, he gets the instinct to RIP OUT THROATS VIA TEETH, except... Serat doesn't have the right set of teeth for that. Wraith does.
Basically everything is hilarious.
...Oh yes and he does look like Ghost and Satero's troubled lovechild, doesn't he. LOVELY. He'd chew off Satero's kneecaps (then get the nobel peace prize) and yell at Ghost to stop being a gigantic douche all the time. Also punch Corosa in the face, for no reason that would make sense relative to his personality but that doesn't even matter, because I am the author here and he will punch Corosa in the face whether he wants to or not.

in the story there's these beings called 'otherworlders' who are basically like... personifications of various emotional states among lots of other things. and humans can make deals with them to kind of be 'absorbed' into that emotional state and thus turn immortal.
SO that was what wraith did with the secret, who is one of those otherworlders ;_;
