Finally! Harry Potter fanart!!I've decided to start a series of drawings in this kinda style!
What I've done is used black and white charcoal on grey pastel paper.
I wanted to experiment with a more sketchy, less detailed feel with portraits, instead of the normal detail I do. But it was so hard to be sketchy with the face! haha. it's such a habit to try perfect it...so I had to stop myself.I love how this turned out though, I must say. I can't wait to do more! and with these, they don't take 12-16 hours like pencil does for me! so I can do them much quicker!

Yes, DW is brilliant, just so fantastic! I'm currently attempting a digital portrait of the Doctor, when he's crying just after he and Rose say good bye in Doomsday....so sad.

I actually like Matt. I wasn't sure that I could really like anyone after David, but Matt created a special little spot in my heart that just won't go away.

Ahhh I know what you mean, Matt Smith is incredible. He's more alien, and it works so well! But I still love David more haha! I went and watched some season 2 episodes to compare David and Matt after seeing season 5, and I still love David more!

Well, drawing hair is much easier, and in some ways, blending skin tones. But that's only if it's a charcoal pencil! Otherwise a pencil is much easier than a big stick of charcoal!
That's my opinion anyway! haha
