I'M SORRY IT'S A SKETCH I'M VERY STRESSED ATM AND I HAVE SOME THINGS TO DO BEFORE I CAN EVEN THINK OF DOING LINEART WHICH TAKES A WHILEIf the person who wins would like art of this character, full on shade and lineart for a better ref after I would be willing to do so bc I feel bad ; o ; )

Anyway~ Here’s my entry!
Name: Golden Yellow Sapphire
Nickname: Goldy, Gold, or Yellow

Weapon: Future Vision, Though she can summon a dagger

Alliance: Yellow Diamond (Previous), Loli Diamond (Current-She’s a character I’m designing)
Backstory: Yellow was to be sent to Yellow Diamonds court. She was quite pleased with this and couldn’t wait to be a member of such a famous and one of the main 4 Diamonds court. Though plains were changed because a new up coming court was in need of court members, specifically a sapphire with future vision.
To be honest Yellow was displeased. She had a chance to be in one of the most important diamond courts and it was thrown away so she could ‘help’ an upcoming court. As Yellow arrived at the landing deck on a transport ship, she could imagine how terrible it was gonna be.

The ship started to float off the ground, it vibrated a little before hitting light speed blasting off of this planet. I did not understand when my informer said I was going to be in this ‘Loli Court’, what did Loli even mean?! As I bickered around in my thoughts I failed to notice that a pearl was behind me.
“Y-Your Grace???” The pearls sweet low voice startled me to float off the ground a little.
“Oh! Yes?” I brushed off my gown and looked at the pearl. From what I heard about the loli courts fashion system I was rather surprised by how plain looking the pearl was, though she did look cute I’ll admit.
The pearl motioned me to follow her, I did. We walked for quite a bit passing a few gems who whispered from seeing a yellow sapphire for the first time. To my unruly surprise I hardly saw any gems who seemed to be of my rank, a few pearls chatting with each other, but where was their owners? A thud object hit my face, I accidentally bumped into the pearl as we almost reached my new Diamonds courters. Before I could chastise the pearl other gems whispered with shocked looks on their faces.
“Why were all these gems looking at me this way?!” I harshly snapped to the pearl. We reached the entrance, I could finally speak my mind.
The pearl gave a nervous look, “Well I’m our Diamonds main pearl actually...” She still looked awkward, almost like she has never spoke to a gem. “Our Diamond has a lot of pearls as you saw, though it’s actually considered a crime here if you hurt one of u—“
“What?!” I was shocked. How would a diamond treasure pearls in such a way?! It made no sense!
The pearl now seemed to be quite tense and timid now. Slowly she typed the code into the doors screen, it slid open. I walked in yet the pearl did not follow me inside, I caught a glimpse of her walking down the stairs. Before I could properly inspect my situation loud thumps were heard. A huge door slid open and large gem only as tall as a Diamonds shoulder height tripped landed right in front of me. If she were just a little bit further perhaps I could have been shattered!
“Sorry ‘bout that hun!” The gem sat herself up on her knees. “I’m Loli Diamond! It’s a pleasure to meet my first sapphire!” She definitely was a bit shorter than a diamond, though I have heard that pink diamond was as tall as a topaz so at least my new diamond wasn’t THAT small.
“O-Of course...” I was frightened she looked wonderful. It was quite different than any clothing style I have seen. It looked similar to a few gems I saw as I passed them with her pearl.
“So what’s your name hun???” My Diamonds eyes grew in excitement.
I hold my tongue before speaking, “Greetings My Diamond. I am a Golden Yellow Sapphire, though to speak my name would be Yellow Sapphire.” I felt nervous, her eyes looked at me up and down.
“Hmm...I think you could be a hime Loli! You wouldn’t even have to change your clothing!” The Diamond didn’t stop their and continued. “In my court all are accepted as long as they wear a type of earth Japanese fashion, though Lolita is prefered!”
“Oh...Of Course My Diamond!” I did not know a thing she was talking about. She must’ve saw my confusion.
My diamonds left hand was behind her back the entire time we talked, though finally she put hand in front of me revealing a bubbled gem. I could tell straight away it was a pearl, the bubble floated to me as I held it in my hands. Of course if I joined Yellow Diamonds court I knew I get a pearl, though this one I got from a diamond herself!
“I’ve gotta get back to work. I gave your pearl a little makeover and she’ll explain my courts rules and show you to your room!” Loli Diamond arose and walked as those large doors slid open then closed. I looked at the bubble containing my pearl.
Perhaps I would like this court after all...
Personality: Yellow is a gem who still isn’t comfortable with being in the court. She can be quite rude and even though she have now been in the court awhile her sassy nature hasn’t changed. You can definitely tell upon meeting her if you treat her like a princess she’ll adore you. Despite acting this way Yellow is actually a very nice gem who cares deeply for her pearl and close friends.
Likes: Fond of her own pearl, fancy dresses, close friends, shiny pretty things
Dislikes: Ruined outfits, rude gems, dirty objects, human food

So first off, I would like to have her be closely related to another yellow sapphire I recently adopted <3 sapphire twins ^u^ So I’d like to refer to her as “Pale Yellow Sapphire”

✦Backstory
The ground tightened around her, as the gem’s form grew stable, the walls of the hole began to urge the new gem towards the surface, spitting her up like foreign object in a wound. She had emerged, but it was dark? Oh, she had emerged into a shallow crater. Or were all holes this deep?
The pale yellow sapphire looked down, to see another sapphire already on the ground. She was immediately welcomed and swarmed with gems beginning to tend to her. Pale Yellow Sapphire looked on longingly from her hole, but looked back at her origin. It was remarkably deeper that the other ones she could see… Wait. The exit hole had two noticeable variations; about half way down the walls were smoothed differently, Pale Yellow Sapphire looked back to the other yellow sapphire that suddenly looked up at her, as if she knew, as if she had foreseen her? She outstretched her dainty white gloved hand towards Pale Yellow.
Pale Yellow Sapphire, beckoned forth by the other yellow sapphire, promptly leaped from the high hole, and landed gracefully… on her knees. The other sapphire did not move, but the legions of attendees closed in on the extra sapphire, aiding her in standing and dusting her off. The other Yellow Sapphire idled by and Pale Yellow Sapphire did her best to emulate the slightly older sapphire.
Finally an Agate burst forth from the crowd, demanding to know what the abnormally large ruckus was about. As soon as she made eye-contact with the sapphire, she excitedly clapped her hands together and immediately began praising the yellow sapphire on her immersion. Suddenly the agate’s expression went blank. Pale Yellow Sapphire’s future vision was foggy at best with all this commotion, so she braced for the worst.
“OH MY!” The agate boomed, “Not only did we get one incredible Yellow Sapphire, but two! How is this possible?” She was beaming with pride now, surely this kindergarten would get recognized for this.
“I believe when the injectors were placing us, perhaps an excess occurred when I was planted. This Yellow Sapphire Emerged from the same hole I did.” The fellow Yellow Sapphire never looked up or physically acknowledged the agate, speaking monotonously as if she was focused on other things.
“Just emerged, and already your future vision is on point I see! Truly what a spectacular phenomenon! I shall inform my diamond at once!” The agate stormed off, barking at the local supervisor’s pearl to contact the diamonds immediately.

It wasn’t long before word spread about the perfect twin yellow sapphires. Even their diamond could not be more proud of this miracle and immediately they joined her court, not just as sapphires but a status symbol. Surely the two gems sowed so close to one another would have choked one or each other out and both failed to grow. But this was too good to be true!
And it was. Pale Yellow Sapphire’s future vision was weak and fuzzy compared to her twin Yellow Sapphire’s visions. Yellow sapphire was a perfect example of what a sapphire should be, while Pale Yellow had the looks, and faked the demeanor by copying exactly what Yellow Sapphire did.
Yellow Sapphire never minded though, in fact she loved the company of Pale Yellow. When Pale Yellow was put on the spot, she would swoop in and protect her twin sister, speaking over her unsure ways, of safe-proofing Pale Yellow’s inaccurate predictions. Yellow never wanted her sister to go, because if her superiors found out about Pale Yellow’s defective vision, she would most likely be shattered, and their status lowered for shaming their diamond's accomplishment.
✦Personality
Pale Yellow Sapphire is clumsy, ditzy, naïve, but she is still smart, and knows when to keep her mouth shut for the most part. She follows after her twin sapphire like a child, and has a short temper. However her future vision is clear enough she knows just how on edge she should be, and how much danger she’s in, should her defective nature be discovered. She can however get carried away and forget just how careful she needs to be, which slowly but surely chips away at her twin’s patience for her.
But as for playing the part of a sapphire, she looks the part, and is graceful when she moves when she’s not falling or bumping into things. She often excuses it as “Oh I was looking to far forward in time I couldn’t see the now!” and she laughs before she moves on. Since other gems have no idea what it’s like, it’s an excuse that works for most gems for now.

Her twin, the status and perks of being a famous sapphire, the hole where she emerged, having pearls wait on her, actually getting her predictions right. I imagine if she were to come into contact with organic life, she would be much like pink and enjoy seeing them rise above their station as she dreams of being a legendary gem, even though in reality she has no chance of that.
✦Dislikes
Her weak visions, this is the literal bane of her existence. Agates, they’re loud and pushy. Her twin saving her gem every two seconds. Not being capable of standing up for herself. She HATES being poofed, it’s a natural reaction, but she feels as if she’s never going to wake up from it and her future vision is gone in this state.

It just came to me, it was meant to be ^u^ I even love them and their story so much, I was planning on giving them to my newest diamond-sona, Peacock Diamond, she's a bit of a show-off so it would make sense for her to have them and show them off wherever she went haha ^^ and being a diamond's personal sapphires, she would maintain an elite in status which i imagine is one of her personal goals in life

Backstory: A Sapphire has a use, she can tell you what it's for. And yes, Yellow Sapphire could tell you what she was for. She was the light in the plane of darkness, she was the hope for the broken ones, she was also a dreamer, and the first two things mentioned aren't true. Yellow Sapphire wanted to save the Diamonds someday, and someday happened. She stood in a field, wars raging. Yellow Sapphire ran to her Pearl, frantic and scared; the Diamonds were losing.
As warned by her Pearl moments ago, the wrath of an enemy soon overshadowed her... literally. Before fate could run its course, though, the almighty boot of Yellow Diamond came down upon the enemy, and Yellow Sapphire had just gotten her ass saved by the gem she swore to serve and protect.
Yellow Sapphire would always imagine it: she would come in when the Diamonds needed her most and... then she couldn't think of anything. She could never even begin to imagine what she could do that the Diamonds would need her for. Sure, she had future vision, but Yellow Sapphire only saw the path of her life... and none of it contained any kind of heroism.
One might assume being taller than the rest of your kind would either be really bad or really good. Well, for Yellow Sapphire, nobody really minded her being a few inches above the rest. She could see above all her peers' heads, that was a plus she guessed. One day, her Pearl dashed in with a communicator in hand. Her Pearl then explained that Yellow Diamond had called upon her. Her. Yellow Diamond needed her, and her only. She raced down to Yellow Diamond's office, leaving her Pearl to stand by Yellow Diamond's Pearl. Yellow Diamond explained her need; apparently, some Amethysts had been instructed to decimate a planet's destruction, and Yellow Diamond needed to know when those incompetent gems would be finished. Yellow Sapphire, looking into fate, saw that they would arrive back on Homeworld in 4 cycles. Reporting to her Diamond, Yellow nodded and dismissed her.
About 15 cycles later, the unsuspecting Yellow Sapphire received a call from Yellow Diamond once more; a direct one. As Yellow Sapphire answered, anticipating some kind of congratulation, she was met with the burning glare of infuriated yellow eyes. Yellow Diamond told the small Sapphire off for how she "lied to her face" and "stepped out of line" and "let them get away". It didn't take long for Yellow Sapphire to put the pieces together and realize that... her prediction for the arrival of those Amethysts was off.
Yellow Sapphire soon found out that those Amethysts were traitors, and when Homeworld set out to find them, they had already been able to tinker with the device meant to destroy the planet, and it's decimation led to the shattering of several adequate Homeworld gems. And the best part? If Yellow Sapphire hadn't messed up her prediction so badly then the Amethysts could have been caught.
Well, she failed her Diamond, and as far as her Diamond and the rest of Homeworld knows, she was working with them the whole time. Realizing that everything she had ever known has fallen apart, and that her life and status had been crushed under the feet of those heinous Amethysts, she knew that she had no choice but to run and hope to make it out alive... not that any of her other hopes had come true.
Yellow Sapphire turned to face her Pearl one last time, and as she shut the door, the last she saw of the Pearl was her swinging her spear at her. Having lost her Pearl, lost her status, lost her life, she walked, fists balled up and eye glaring darkly under her bangs. She took in a deep breath and looked at her surroundings; dead, lifeless, and worst of all: techless. She looked up, only to see a ledge completely eclipse the sight of the Homeworld sky, almost like the faint glimmer of her dreams...
Personality: Currently, Yellow Sapphire is angry, upset, and depressed. She wants her life back, but knows it's just another dying dream. She is emotionally unstable, and only with proper mental healing can she learn to accept her life... as an off color.
Likes: Yellow Sapphire finds little to like. She does, however, enjoy dreaming that she was back home, walking through the cities of Homeworld and grabbing the attention of all the low-ranking gems.
Dislikes: She dislikes everything, pretty much. The stupid floor, the cloddy walls, the dumb cave-ceilings. But there is one thing that causes her self-control to fly out the window: those Amethysts that twisted fate for their STUPID, CLODDY, DUMB, IDIOTIC, PLANS!
This took me like an hour and I don't know why I put so much thought into it lol

Yellow sapphire was originally made for yellow but she was asked to find the rebel army she did track them down but she met a defective rebel tiger's eye jasper he saved her from a crocodile she did not former the crocodile or tiger save her she did not understand she thought that she should have been shattered but then she met rose quartz, rose and tiger showed her that she can be what ever she wants not just a Oracle after tiger and yellow spent a lot of time together something amazing happened they fused and fell in love but then the battle against home world happened and right before the corruption blast to save yellow he pushed her towards garnet, yellow was spared but tiger he was fully corrupted.

BACKSTORY
Although Yellow Sapphire came from Yellow Diamonds court, and all the gems were, typically, yellow, Sapphires didn't fit that frame. They were supposed to be blue, and come from blue diamonds court, so when she came out in a batch of Topazs, she was already a outcast, and a offcolor. She was bad at giving visions, and seemed only to care about what the future held in how you felt, which was no help to any gems. The court decided that they didn't want to just throw her away, shatter her, she was too rare, even if she was a offcolor. She was the only one of her kind, unlike padparadscha sapphires, which were one of the most common offcolors.
They decided that they'd keep her in a room, and just- leave her there. Maybe they'd find a use for her in a hundred, thousand, or ten thousand years. They didn't know. They threw her in without a second thought, and left her in the dark. What they didn't know? There was a hole in the ceiling, leading straight to the outside. She struggled to climb out due to her oddly large dress, and squeezed through. With a laugh, she was free, but what now?
PERSONALITY
Yellow sapphire has great manners in public, but she's actually quite messy, and loud, similar to amethysts. She may be a Sapphire with a extra large dress, but that doesn't make her extra fancy. She's adventurous, and if you say she can't go somewhere, she's going.
LIKES & DISKLIKES
She likes- space. From what she's experienced, homeworld is horrible, and she's been told that it's great, so she doesn't know what to believe. The Crystal Gems, are horrible from what she's told, but she's tired of being told, since it's never true. She enjoys finding the truth, even though her future vision that's supposed to tell it only measures feelings.
OTHER
I think she'd be a explorer, not on either side. She wouldn't help the crystal gems, nor homeworld, just her (and her crew?)

Backstory:
She was originally in Yellow Diamonds court but then YD thought she was becoming slow and wanted to get rid of her, YD transferred to Canaru Diamonds court. CD was always verry nice with her so Yellow Sapphire became a happy-go-lucky gem like CD. YS was like CD's pearl, always by her side and was rarely ever away from her. Since CD's court wasn't really connected with Blues, Yellows, Whites or Pinks they could go around on different panets and mess around. YS gave CD the idea to change her size so she looked like a normal gem so they could go around mostly unnoticed. YS, CD and CP(Canary Pearl) became best friends and after a few years they were inseperable. After a few more years they discovered the Earth, CD. YS and CP tried fitting in with the humans and so far so good!
