Medulla is a masterpiece.
This piece of art is really suggestive, the symmetric pattern is filled with stunning color gradations, and the sponge (?) strokes give so much depth to it all...

I t looks like you did that fabulous folding smudge we did when we were very young than added the fairy and the fabulous prehistoric creators. It's great! I love it!

And it IS a folding smudge!! I was doing an ink drawing, and I accidentaly dropped some blue everywhere... Then I got angry... Then I put even more paint and ink on it... Then I fold it, found a fairy, and it became what we can see here !

I always say, "In Art, Mistake is the work of the Muse!" I always get better work when something goes wrong with my 'vision'- like I spill, smug, or mis-stroke! But it takes me places I'd never go: some place new and expansive! I love this work and have been wanting to do something with smudging! lol
