How are you so good at drawing this? Man, it hurts me when I see artists like you draw reality in such a badass fashion. I can't draw anything right. I mean, the only thing I managed to draw from reality is that teddy bear in my ID image, and it ended up, well not really well.
I like how you put so much detail in its eyes and the way you make its hair strains so observable and striking. Can I ask you something? How do you know where to apply shading? I don't know why but I can't seem to grasp the theory behind it.

I just try and try and try. I red some books about drawing and trying what I can do. Now I only practice more and more and sometimes searching for some tips to improve my drawing.
But I learn one thing, start with imagining how you draw something, than draw the line how you see it. You can't think about subject you draw, think and draw only the line you see.
And shading, I use more ore less color like in picture, everything is only about practice and point of wiev.

Don't worry, I understood everything, and thank you for your tips. I've read something similar to what you wrote on some site, where someone wrote that drawing is just about seeing different shapes all connected into certain types of things, and that the goal of the artist should be to recognize the shapes and how they interact with each other and not just the chosen object.

You have a great sense for detail and the contrast is well done. You might want to try to not smudge your pencils and instead use thin layers, that way the drawing will look cleaner.

Thanks for advice. I try only use thin layer, but I never have shading, such what I want. I know, it wants more practice
