The originality of the a paper heart on a book is brilliant. I'm not sure about many of the viewers on dA, but photographs like this involving hearts and books might trigger memories from several years ago. This triggering of memories adds a more abstract feel to the photo, making it a truly inspiring piece.
My only suggestions would be the placement of the actual heart. Although it stands out color-wise, it seems too crammed out to the right. Try centering it a bit more, but not too much.
The books in behind the heart could also be a bit blurred to draw more attention toward the heart, but it's not needed if you as the photographer feel that the heart is enough of a focal.
