Another done in my free time of a dwarf warrior in some oldschool armor, within Blizzard's WoW universe.I love Alterac Valley and miss the days of games going on for days on end (for those vanilla players, know what i mean!) so thought it would be fun to do a painting of it.

i didnt get to play much of WoW -sadness- i only got to play once -m- i played as a Night Elf, it was alot of fun
anyway, enough about the game, awesome artwork, AS! love the dynamic pose with the Dwarf as well as the detail of scrapes in the shield and armor of the boots, well done! congrats on the DD

I also miss oldschool AV! And WSG... the game changed so much in the 5 years I played, I just couldn't stand it anymore! Been WoW-free for over a year now, but I still miss playing vanilla...!

if you still have the 2.0.0 installer CD, then there's plenty of bug free vanilla private servers you could spend free time on

Alterac Valley! ^_^ I remember doing that everyday....for hours on end. Hopefully it'll become the next "Wintergrasp" and we can have those day long battles again.

AV is still my fave WoW BG. and while i dont play dwarves, they are my favorite set of NPCs.

Okay, I know it has already been said somewhere before, but this is very well done. I enjoy the cool feel of the overall picture as if day is just breaking lit by the warm sun that is throwing some magnificent color into the sky and the general vicinity. You can tell it has been snowing just from the feel and the general lighting going on. I really like that the Dwarf is mainly in cooler or toned down warm colors as that really makes his bright orange-red beard stand out and brings him into focus even when he is much darker than the background.

Thats awesome. I love how solid and condensed the dwarf looks - like his defence is so strong he is basically invincible, but ready to charge forward like an unstoppable heavy chunk of rock at a moments notice.

I remember the old Alterac Valley days! No-one ever knew what was going on, or how to control the battle. Wonderful chaotic stuff with a genuine sense of adventure (gaming hadn't really seen anything like it before!)
This is a fantastic picture. I love the strange perspective, it helps give the thing a defensive feel; the whole picture is coiled like a spring. Wonderful work
